Mont Vernon July 14, 1806; m. March 30, 1831, Mahala, dau of Daniel and Betsey (Durant) Secombe. She was b. in Mont Vernon, July 27, 1806. He was a worthy mechanic and a devout Christian. He d. July 6, 1835 at Lowell [MA], Julia Holbrook. She was b. Frankfort ME Sept 27, 1809, d. July 20, 1892 at Salina, Kan [KS]. Children, all b. in Lowell [MA]. He lived in Auburn NY several years. 1. Salina, Kansas, May 28, 1881. 3. Elizabeth Alden, b. June 10, 1850, d. June 17, 1870 Stephen Chapin Coburn, son of Josiah and Judith (Carleton) Coburn, b. Mont Vernon Nov 14, 1825, moved to Milford [NH] in the 50's [1850s]. He carried on a shoe store there many years. He was Representative from Milford from 1879 to 1883, five years Selectman, being Chairman of the Board four years. He now (1902) lives on a farm in the south part of Milford. He m. Sept 11, 1856, Ann, dau of Aaron K. Putnam and Polly (Shattuck) Putnam of WIlton [NH]. She was b. Wilton, July 26, 1826. Children b. Milford [NH]: 1. Mary E., b. July 9, 1857; m. April 8, 1880, Albert A. Gilson of Milford [NH]; two children, reside Walpole NH 2. Florence S., b. April 13, 1859; m. July 13, 1887. William H. Whitmore; reside Cleveland Ohio. 3. Grace P., b.
