THE ADAMS FAMILY Page 6 SAMUEL ADAMS, son of Moses and Hannah Wilson, was b. in Dublin [NH], May 3, 1794, where he lived until 1837, when he purchased the farm of the late Daniel Robbe, and removed to Peterborough. He has since resided here. He has held various offices in town. Selectman 1841 and 1859, 1860; he also represented the town in the Legislature in 1847. He m. 1st w., Almira Kendall who d. June 25, 1823; 2d w., Dec. 3, 1824, Martha Broad, who d. June 20, 1825; 3d w., Azuba Broad, Jan. 23, 1827. She d. May 30, 1854, ae 60; b. March 17, 1794 Children: 1. +John Quincy, b. Oct. 27, 1827; m. Sep. 29, 1853, Abbie W. Fisk, b. June 9, 1831, of Weston, Mass. 2. Sarah B., b. July 18, 1829; d. Aug 10, 1869 ae 40 3. +Samuel, b. Sep. 14, 1831; m. Matilda Nay 4. Hannah A., b. July 8, 1833; d. Nov. 1, 1857 ae 24 JOHN QUINCY ADAMS [son of Samuel & Azubah (Broad) Adams] m. Abbie W. Fisk, dau of Sewall and Martha S. Fisk of Weston, Mass. He succeeded his father on the homestead. Has been selectman 1870, 1871, 1872, 1874. Children: 1. Wallace P., b. Dec. 23, 1854; d. Nov 30, 1864, ae 9 yrs., 11 mos. 2. Henry F., b. May 30, 1857. 3. Herbert G., b. May 14, 1860; d. Aug. 21, 1865, ae. 5 yrs., 3 mos. 4. Helen F., b. June 25, 1864 5. Mary M., b. Aug 6, 1873 SAMUEL ADAMS [son of Samuel & Azubah (Broad) Adams], m.
