Ellis, 1876 Page 90 THE FROST FAMILY CYRUS FROST, son of Benjamin and Annis Pierce Frost, was born in Dublin [NH], May 12, 1807. He lived on the old homestead in Dublin until March 13, 1852 when he removed to Peterborough, and occupied the Charles Davison farm, being a part of the Gridley farm, or farm A, so called, of five hundred acres. He married 1st, November 1829, Cyntha Nay, of Sharon [NH]. She d. Jan 20, 1837; 2d wife Betsey McCoy of Sharon [NH] Nov 9, 1837. She b. Sept 24, 1807. She d. Sept. 3, 1858 ae 50 years 11 mos; 1st wife, one child; 2nd wife, three children. Children: 1. Lydia Ann, b. July 30, 1831 2. Charles Albert, b. Sept 9, 1838, m. June 16, 1868 Sarah A. Garfield, b. May 22, 1841, dau of Wm. and Annis Walker Garfield of Claremont [NH]. 3. Sarah E., b. Dec 15, 1839; m. Miflin Bailey, Tremont, Illinois 4. Cyntha A., b. Aug 6, 1843, m. 1876 Henry F. Mears; resided Nashua NH ALBERT FROST a brother of the above CYRUS FROST, was b. in Dublin [NH] March 20, 1817. He m. Feb 21, 1843, Mary Boutelle, of Antrim [NH]. He came to Peterborough in 1848 and bought the Daniel Abbot place, where Dr. Young formerly lived, and has resided there since. He has been sexton for the town for a number of years. He is a carpenter by trade. Children: 1. George A., b. March 23, 1844. He m. Oriseville S. Fisher, b. Jan 21, 1848; ch., Albert Orvis, b. Dec 10, 1869 2. Mary E., b. April 30, 1847 3. Eugene L., b.
