  • Charles "Charlie" Roby - an old photograph of Charlie ROBY which was taken at the
    Johnson & Glenton Studio in Nashua, New Hampshire. The photograph appears
    to have been taken in the 1880's with Charlie likely in his 30's at the time

  • Joseph "Joe" Shedd of Nashua, New Hampshire which was taken at the Glenton Studio in Nashua, NH. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880's with Joe appearing to be less than 1 year old at the time.   • Two old photographs of REV. WETHERBEE & Mrs. WETHERBEE which were taken at the F. Glenton Studio in Nashua, New Hampshire. The photographs appear to have been taken sometime in the 1880's with the couple appearing to be in their 50's at the time. Thanks to the help of a WETHERBEE Family Researcher I believe that these may be photographs of Rev. Charles WETHERBEE Jr. and his wife Cornelia Antoinette CHAPIN.
         Rev. Charles WETHERBEE Jr. was b. 10 June 1832 in Walpole, NH to parents
    Charles Thomas WETHERBEE and Nancy HYDE. He attended the Kimball Union
    Academy from 1850-1852 and graduated from Middlebury College in 1856. He
    then went onto the Union Theological Seminary attending from 1858-1859 and
    was ordained at North Cornwall, CT on 1 Sept 1859.
         Rev. Charles WETHERBEE married Cornelia Antoinette CHAPIN on 19 Aug 1856 in
    New Haven, VT. Cornelia Antoinette CHAPIN was b. 24 Feb 1834 in New Haven,
    VT to parents Myron CHAPIN and Olive BENEDICT. Together Charles & Cornelia
    had 3 children, Etta Chapin WETHERBEE b. 21 Oct 1863 in Cornwall, CT; Addie
    Augusta WETHERBEE b. 19 Aug 1865 in Cornwall, CT and died 6 Nov 1866 in
    Winsted, CT; Charles Burton WETHERBEE b. 13 Nov 1867 in Winsted, CT.
         Rev. Charles WETHERBEE died 29 May 1887 in Nashua, NH. Photographs rescued and shared by Shelley Cardiel of email: cardiels@comcast.net

  • Photograph: Colonel Amos Webster (c1825-?) b. VT; resided Nashua NH; colonel in the Union Army during the Civil War. In the 1870s Webster was a leading member of the Washington, DC, National Guard. He was a representative in the New Hampshire state senate from 1883 to 1884. Furniture manufacturer in Nashua NH.
